For all those looking….. the 2008 Boise Twilight Criterium, which is actually called the Wells Fargo Twilight Criterium, is this upcoming Saturday.
The most important thing - the course has changed (map), and that’s for two reasons: construction at the Capital and the Farmers Market downtown.
Here’s the calendar for the day:
11 a.m.: 9th Street southbound from Bannock will be closed.
1 p.m.: Roads around the race area will close.
2:30 p.m.: Course opens
3 p.m.: Ride with Kristin Armstrong kids event begins (kids 5-10 & free)
4-7 p.m.: Amateur races
7 p.m.: Opening ceremony
7-10 p.m.: Professional races begin
10 p.m.: Awards ceremony
Midnight: Roads open
All participants must wear a helmet. More information here …. We’ll be there.
