Apparently you won’t see this on Faux News. We were watching (on one of the innumerable sports channels) and my 12 year-old nephew commented. Nope – I do not usually watch sports. I was just sitting there waiting on my sister, and yep we both started laughing.
Kinda reminds of the reception Andrew Card got when roundly, soundly booed while accepting an honorary degree at University of Mass graduation last year.

Like you say below, the media clips I’ve seen somehow diminish the sound of the booing.
“Of course, most places got it wrong. On NBC10, Sports Reporter Via Sikahema mentioned Palin’s appearence at the game, but not the boos. There are some other reports that say Palin was booed at first, but then welcomed with polite applause. I am here to tell you this didn’t happen. She was booed feverishly by Flyers fans, and it was all loud and clear.”
