Just received ‘Breaking News’ from CNN. The country has been in a recession since December of 2007. Really? Someone best alert that fuckwad Saxby Chambliss (ReThug-GA) who said in one campaign speech, “I don’t know what that word means.”
The committee identified December 2007 as the peak month, after determining that the subsequent decline in economic activity was large enough to qualify as a recession.
Blue Texan at firedoglake posted video of Chambliss on Fox News in an interview wtih Chris Wallace discussing his ‘i dunno nuthin bout no recession’ comment’ over the summer while campaigning. Chambliss makes the case that if Jim Martin (D) wins this race, we’ll be that much closer to Marxism. It’s not so much about Jim Martin as it is about Barack Obama with Chambliss.
