Racist or Racialist?

Remember Newt Gingerich’s assigning the “racist” label to Sonia Sotomayor, and when that ‘proved too much’ for some prominent Republicans, Newtie supposedly walked that back stating that the reference should be as a racialist.

According to an online dictionary, the definition of racialist or racialism is thus:

Now – check this out.  I was looking over some websites while reading about James von Brunn and found this:

Another poster on Storm Front, Elena, wrote that she was nominating Von Brunn for the title of “white racialist treasure,” and described his book about the imagined Zionist conspiracy, “Kill The Best Gentiles,” as “a valuable resource.” Elena asked other readers to send their own nominations for the title, and signed her post: “Blessed be the Pro-White Activists.”

Now I don’t know if Newtie has any comprehension of the link between white nationalists, white nationalistic ‘thought’ or policy, and just plain ole racism as more or less promoted and practiced by Newt his own self.  What is evident from the definition alone and some of the articles and other posts or comments is this – there is no difference between calling Judge Sonia Sotomayor a racist or racialist.
