Crandall Canyon (update) – “the end of the line?”

brass-tag5.jpgI’m sure the families in Huntington were dismayed to hear this report on what was seen when the camera was lowered into the 7th borehole at Crandall Canyon.

Instead, workers discovered 7 feet of rubble from the floor up and only a 2 1/2-foot void, or space, between the top of the rubble pile and the ceiling. A camera lowered into the hole showed that it was filling up with mud and water.

The inevitable may be about to be faced  As their attorney, Colin King,  a lawyer and spokesman for the families, said:

“I think they’re moving closer and closer to accepting the likelihood that they won’t find anyone alive.”
