Sooo ~ John McCain is NOW criticizing the Bush administration. Well, here – let’s just see what he told Chris Matthews (while on the college tour – Notre Dame):
This was the first comment at the Washington Times story this morning. I’ve been checking it for the past couple of days and, amazingly, it’s not indicative of the responses. A word of caution – don’t be drinking anything…
He shouldn’t have to carry all the burden, because no party is blameless in this case. The fact that the liberal illuminati [sic] ignored all the warnings about Wall Street just shows how they believe in spending money, not thinking of the consequences.
And if that’s not enough for ya – check this out…..
Today in Chester, Pennsylvania – here’s what Obama had to say about John & George, and the economy.
“John McCain’s ridden shotgun as George Bush has driven our economy toward a cliff, and now he wants to take the wheel and step on the gas,” he said. “When it comes to the issue of taxes, saying that John McCain is running for a third Bush term isn’t being fair to George Bush. He’s proposing $300 billion in new tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans and the biggest corporations. That’s something not even George Bush proposed.”
I hope I can live through this next week.
