She Did It Again

Although she started off a bit shaky in the beginning, she gave another great performance.  Of the two I’ve seen, I much prefer her first performance.   Whatever she produces, I’ll probably buy.  I like her.  I so like her gutsiness.

  1. Interesting. She’s definitely got the crowd (and judges) behind her now, apparently making up for losing the element of surprise.

    I didn’t think this song was the best choice for her vocal range.

    Expectations change perception; in her debut, most expected failure, so the high quality seemed more remarkable. This time I expected more than she delivered.

  2. I don’t particularly care for the song. I was reading some of the remarks at You Tube. Someone suggested Boyle do some Dusty Springfield covers.

    I think a big draw was that initial element of surprise – shock, actually, and once learning her life circumstances people are more prone to want to see her succeed.
