Well – now, shit is happening in Honduras.
Honduras’s ousted President, Manuel Zelaya, has been forced to divert his homecoming jet to Nicaragua after it was barred from landing in Tegucigalpa.
At least two people were killed as troops fended off thousands of Zelaya supporters converging on the airport and Mr Zelaya’s plane circled overhead.
The self-declared interim government had refused to allow the jet to land.
And the plane didn’t land. Zelaya is on his way to El Salvador where he’ll meet with the presidents of various central American countries and the OAS.
