STOP ASKING THE FUCKING CHENEYS!

And another thing – when Dick  Cheney finally has the BALLS to tell the American people why he took five fucking deferments during the Vietnam War – THEN, just maybe THEN, some of us might …. nah, we won’t – never mind.

Heather at Crooks & Liars has proof that George Stephanopoulos still places some value on the drippings of the Cheney family. I value neither the Cheneys nor Village butt kissers like Stephanopoulos.

The president is very fond of saying, “Before I commit troops, I’m going to think very carefully about it.” Somebody in the White House needs to remind him: He’s already committed troops. We’ve got American men and women in Afghanistan today, because we’ve got to prevent Afghanistan from again becoming a safe haven for Al Qaida. The cost of walking away, the cost of defeat, the cost of retreat is huge. They’re fighting there today, and they’re fighting without the kind of resources and reinforcements that he needs — that they need.

See – that was part of problem with Cheney and George Bush.  Neither understood the distinction between knee jerk decisions and thoughtful determination.  We’ve got American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan because the Bush administration put them there.  Obama needs to get them the fuck out.

Or as this dude says:

The longer we wait the more harm is being done to our troops over there.

So let me get this straight…We go into Afghanistan in late 2001, fail to commit enough troops there to capture OBL at Tora Bora- instead shopping out the job to local warlords who were bought off by OBL to let him escape- still fail to commit more troops, make up bullshit about yellowcake uranium in order to go to war in Iraq, take troops from Afghanistan and put them in Iraq, watch the situation in Afghanistan deteriorate and still don’t send more troops…From late 2001 through the end of the Bush/Cheney administration, SEVEN YEARS AND A COUPLE OF MONTHS, and NOW you’re worried about harm being done to our troops?!?!

Yes, now they’re worried, Andy.  Just ask George….

  1. As far as I’m concerned, we are protecting OBL and the only reason we have our balls in Afghanistan is on the count of the POPPY fields….our motto should be, if we don’t have it you can’t have it.

  2. I’m sorry….I’m not following the motto, Diane. In relation to what?

Osama bin Laden is dead. I don’t know that we’re in Afghanistan on account of the poppy fields. If we are, then it’s tied to the fucking CIA and that’s where OBL comes in. Just a part of evilness that’s driven solely by testosterone.

  3. …and NOW you’re worried about harm being done to our troops?

Worried about doing maximum damage to the Obama administration more like.

  4. I get a migraine thinking about all the dead and injured American soldiers..and the wasted money that we borrowed from China to pay for this crap.

  5. Not to mention the lives of the Afghans and Iraqis caught in the crossfire.

Having been in the military for a time, how does one say this has been such a fucking waste?

How does one tell those like the Cheneys and the fucking troll who hung out here yesterday, that simply being aware of the damages caused to another or others doesn’t preclude some inclination toward weakness. Knee jerk reactions and deep paranoia are not strengths in my book.

  6. ” Not to mention the lives of the Afghans and Iraqis caught in the crossfire. ”

Sadly there’s more truth in that statement than I think you intended. As far as a lot of Americans are concerned, impact of US foreign policy on the lives of non-US-citizens is not even worthy of mention. There isn’t even an official count of the civilian dead in either Iraq or Afghanistan. Who cares?
