Veni, vidi, vici

Taking a break from ‘farming’ and working to pass this along.

I follow Roger Egbert on Twitter.  He has some of the most profound and some of the most hilarious tweets.  Last night he received the 2010 Person of the Year – 14th Annual Webby Award.   One’s  acceptance speech is to be five words.  Or less.

Here’s Jimmy Fallon introducing Roger:

Veni, vidi, vici ….. three words translating from the Latin, “I came, I saw, I conquered.”

(I wonder if anyone thought it Italian.)  /snark/

  1. He certainly has had his challenges recently.

Good on him for maintaining a positive mental attitude.

    It’s got to be rough.
